Turq Bead & Gold Spike Ring

Ok, did I mention I love this Urban Warrior line from Blue Moon Beads!??

This ring was so fun to make! 

I actually removed these cute gold spikes from a chain bracelet from the package they sent me. I loved the bracelet, but these cute little things were perfect for this project!! 

I used a flower ring base I already had, and attached the spikes with clear plastic string. 

**Thanks to my husband for holding it tight while I threaded the string back and forth!! 

Added a gold head pin into a cute turq bead that came with the Bead Mix Tin in PB&J. I then glued that into the center. 

Loving it!!

Bronze Chain Bracelet

I think every time I look through all the goodies that were sent to me from Blue Moon Beads I find something new! 

Loving all the metal chain and charms in the Urban Warrior line, I decided to make a bracelet to feature more of the amazing items! I also added in some Chartreuse and Clear Yellow beads from their name brand line to add some color. 

I would also like to thank my cute little dressform for displaying my creations so nicely!

Bronze Chain & Butterfly Necklace

I love Blue Moon Beads !! 

I could not believe my eyes when my package came this month! My mind instantly flooded with ideas, I had to sit down immediately and play!

I love metal. I love chain. 

I love the variety of chain they supplied me with and knew I had to make a chain necklace. 

And here it is!!

This adorable butterfly jumped right out at me, and it was the perfect focal point for this necklace. 

I took some of the cute bronze rings, some beads I loved, and secured them inside the ring with a bronze head pin. Turned out pretty cool!

Green Bead Hoop Earrings

You can never have too many earrings!! 

And what better way to have unlimited amount of earrings, then to make them!! 

I created these fun dangle hoop earrings with Sour Grapes & Melon Ball Bead Mix Tins. Along with memory wire, chain and findings. All from Blue Moon Beads!

Silver Metal Bead Necklace

I love metal, so when I saw this Mud Pie Bead Mix Tin, from my Blue Moon Beads package I was stoked!! 

I pulled some chain, small silver flower spacer beads and cute silver head pins out of the package and got to work!

Blue Moon Beads Jute and Bead Bracelet-Necklace Duo

As a proud member of the Blue Moon Beads Design Team, I was stoked when my first package of goodies came in the mail! Creative juices started to flow, and I could not wait to dive in and create!

I decided to make a bracelet-necklace duo. I love these, because for different moods and different outfits you can utilize the same jewelry. I love versatile pieces. 

I used the Jute that was supplied, as well as the amazing bead mix tins in both Rum Raisin and Orange Fiz. And grabbed the large gold toggle for some character. 

In order to decide how long I wanted this bracelet, I simply just wrapped the jute around my wrist until I felt it looked perfect. Then I started to add beads randomly, and tying knots in between them. Finally when I had reached the other  end, I tied each piece of the gold toggle on. 

I love wrap bracelets! As well as wrap necklaces. They are so unique and fun.

Exciting new things...

Well, I was very sad when my 6 months were up on the Fotobella Design Team. I had so much fun getting that package every month and sitting down buried in new, fun scrapbook paper and trinkets. 

I decided to try out for the team again, and I made it!! 

I cannot wait to do this for 6 more months!

The 1st of the Month

The 1st of the month comes with alot of stresses, mainly rent. The dreaded rent.

However, there is one GREAT thing that happens on the 1st of the month. My Fotobella package gets sent off to me. I look forward to this now, every month. It is so exciting to see what fun scrapbook package they pick out for me to go crazy with.

This bundle is so cute, with amazing colors and prints. These bundles are a great deal because they come with everything you would need. Paper, stamps, stickers, tags... Its just so fun!!

Selling My Handmades....

I need creative in my life. It helps me get through the tough days, the rough situations and a few bad hands that I am sometimes dealt.

When I have an idea, I get right on it. Sometimes it takes a matter of minutes to finish, and sometimes it takes me a week. Either way, I always love to see the finished product and compare it to my original idea.

Flower Tacks

These adorable tacks were made with BoBunny All Stuck Up Buttons and Bitty Blossom Jar of Fabric Flowers.

I gathered some old tacks I had laying around.

Used hot glue to attach 2 different flowers each. Then glued a button on the front.

Super easy and quick project. No need to buy new tacks, custom create some of your own!
