Pearl Hoop Earrings

Combining found items with some amazing Blue Moon Beads products.
I love re purposing things. It makes creativity so unique.

I know almost everyone has some of these thin, metal bracelets lying around! Grab 2 to use as the hoop.

With wire cutters, snip the hoop. Use some wire benders to make a loop on one end.

Using some Pearl Chain, Silver Chain, Clear Beads from Bead Mix Tin in PB&J Head Pins and Pearls, attach them onto the hoop.

Once you have arranged them how you like, use the wire bender and make a loop on the other side of the hoop, like the image. Use a large jump ring to attach both sides.

Add some chain, and attach your earring post.

Quick, easy, custom earrings!

Go get creative!!

Glitter & Beads Love Wood Decor

I have been seeing so many fun Valentines Day things lately, I thought I would get in the spirit as well and make some decorations for my house. Blue Moon Beads is so versatile  you can use all the pieces for more then just jewelry. I thought I'd give it a whirl!

I grabbed a few odd shaped Elm branch slices, a bottle of silver loose glitter, Elmers glue, Mod Podge and my hot glue gun.

Next, I put a coat of Elmers glue on the wood slice and dumped a pile of glitter on. I let it dry overnight.

Once dry, shake off the excess glitter. With a sponge brush, I coated the glitter with Mod Podge so it will stay put. Let it dry.

With a hot glue gun, glue the beads on each wood slice. I am using Bead Tin Mix in Red Velvet from Blue Moon Beads

And, here you have a custom Valentines Day decoration!
