Let It Snow Layout

Have you sat in a hot tub in the winter, while it's snowing?
Well you need to try it!

Then, to create the perfectly snowy layout to remember those moments, grab the DCWV Christmas Village, Favor Boxes and Ornaments Stacks!

It's hard to tell in the picture, but the layout sheet is a beautifully thick, textured, glittery page from the back of the DCWV DIY PROJECT STACK - CHRISTMAS VILLAGE.

The adorable snowflakes came from both the DCWV DIY PROJECT STACK - FAVOR BOXES and the DCWV DIY PROJECT STACK - ORNAMENTS

And of course, I always love to throw some darling Blue Moon Beads Charms in wherever I can! This little metal snowflake charm was perfect!

DCWV Corrugate Christmas Gift Tag

Want a unique touch to your handmade gift tags this Christmas Season? Add a real pine tree sprig.

I created this large gift tag with DCWV Box of Corrugate Cards, and placed an oval piece of grey paper on top.

I strung a Blue Moon Beads Wish Charm on some silver string and wrapped around the tag.
I cut a small piece of a pine tree, sprinkled with some white glitter and then added some Blue Moon Beads Silver Round Metal Beads as ornaments.

This tag was quick and easy to create, and is sure to gain some attention!

Mercury Glass Holiday Gift Card Holders

Being on the DCWV Guest Designer Team is just incredible.
I get to work with some of the most incredible new products.

In my latest shipment, I received this gorgeous DCWV Mercury Glass Paper. It comes with 4 different shades.

The sheets of paper are thick, durable and perfectly metallic.
...and of course they made my Holiday Gift Card Holders absolutely magnificent!

For the back of the card, I spray painted a chipboard frame and hot glued a cut piece of the DCWV Insta Photo Fun plastic sheet. It made a perfect pocket for the gift card.

I also tied on a Blue Moon Bead Jingle Bell Charm.

These glittery flowers from the Dollar Tree look amazing on the front of the card, and matched the Mercury Glass paper perfectly.

Here is the finished Mercury Glass Holiday Gift Card Holder.
Very easy to make, and add so much to the gift!

DCWV Ready-Made USA Layout

What could be more easy than a DCWV Ready-Made Layout Page?
Not only do they prepare the layout page for you, but they also give you the option of customizing it as well.

Here is my USA Layout
I added some DCWV Cork Circles, wrote 2013 on them, and then painted some sparkly stars on the layout with some Martha Stewart Garnet Glitter Craft Paint.

DCWV Mini Albums - - - YES Please!!

Hello Everyone and Happy Friday!

I know most of you out there, including myself, are so happy when Friday rolls around! Know what else you should be excited about?

DCWV NEW PRODUCT RELEASES!!

Yes, and I have a good one for you! Visit DCWV Blog to learn about their new mini albums, they have a style, size and print for each and every one of you.
i am lucky enough to work with the Chic Accordion Album. This adorable little thing is 4.5" x 4.5", and the pages are 4" x 4".

If you follow my work, you might have noticed I tend to work slightly backwards. Even though I am showing you this adorable album front to back, I actually worked on it center to back, to front. The album cover was the final stage.
So for the cover of this cute album I attached a strip of the hot pink Glitter Stack paper, and a cut out of the Chalk Art Stack. I used some chipboard letters from the Street Lace Chipboard Box and with a sponge added some Steel Grey Folk Art Paint. Once I had everything secured in the placement I liked, I added some Butterfly and Stars Adhesive Mirror embellishments.

This is the first page of the album. On the left I layered up some Glitter Folk Art Paint, Pink Glitter Stack paper, Adhesive Mirrors and a strip from the Adhesive Jewel Sheet.

On the right side, I took an Insta Photo Fun clear pocket and cut it in half. I secured it with hot glue where there binder holes are and added some Buttons on top to cover the holes. I took a Pink page from the Insta Photo Fun paper, folded it in half, and used it as an envelop flap. I added the stamp 'Pik Me' on the flap. This pocket is for holding guitar picks.

On the next accordion page I used a teal Shimmer Stack paper and Chalk Art Stack words with an adorable picture of my niece and her new pink guitar.
On the right side, I used a large piece of the Chalk Art Stack and wrote a quote that my niece loves.

Here are the last pages of this side of the album. Here I used the same teal Shimmer Stack paper, Chalk Art Stack works and details, and then added a Insta Photo Fun journal card under the picture, topped off with a strip from the Adhesive Jewel Sheet.

... and we can't forget the Blue Moon Bead charm accents!!

I left the other side of the accordion album blank, so she can add her own details from concerts or performances.

Enjoy!!
